Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and The Generations Hub. By joining the waitlist, creating a hub or using the service, you agree to them.

Who can use it

• You must be 18 or older to create a family hub or buy a plan.
• Children under 13 cannot have their own account. A parent manages their profile.

Plans and payments

• The Free plan costs nothing. Family and Legacy are paid yearly or monthly.
• Paid plans renew on their own until you cancel. Your receipt shows the renewal date and how to cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in your account. Your hub stays, on the Free plan.
• If you are not happy with your first purchase, ask for a refund within 30 days and you will get your money back.
• Founding Family prices apply to yearly plans and stay the same for as long as the plan stays active. If the plan is cancelled or lapses, the founding price ends.
• Gift plans start when the person receiving the gift redeems it.
• Features marked “coming soon” are not included until they are released.

Your family's information

• What you add to a hub belongs to you and your family.
• You allow us to store and show it to the members of your hub, and to use it to run the features you use, such as the calendar, reminders and newsletter.
• Only add information about other people that they, or for a child their parent, would be comfortable sharing with the family.
• The organizer can download the hub's information at any time.

Being kind

Do not post anything unlawful, hateful or harassing, or anything you do not have the right to share. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

The service

We work hard to keep The Generations Hub running and your information safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any problem is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it happened.

Changes

If we make an important change to these terms, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
